What is towing? Towing uses a winch and 3200 feet of line, you
lay the line out, attach your paraglider to it and the winch then
pulls you smoothly up into the air. Read
more details about towing.
“Well, when it beeps I’m going up, right?” Actually,
maybe not! Learn, how a vario works, how to find the center of a
thermal using just the sound of the vario. Read
more details about using your variometer.
One of the most critical decisions that you may ever have to make
while paragliding is whether or not to throw your reserve. The A.C.K.!
System is designed as a mental preparation exercise, so that in
the event of a real critical situation you will have already explored
the decision making process of a reserve deployment. Read
